…Treasury has repeatedly rejected Barofsky's recommendations to require recipients to report how they are spending public funds and inform the public of the fair market value of all TARP assets. Enough is enough. It's time for Congress to start issuing subpoenas, for people and documents.

Indeed. Why is Treasury fighting transparency?
